Cornelien came into the events business by chance. After her studies in Contemporary  History at the University of Utrecht, she felt too “commercial” to work in that field and found a job with Expoconsult, a Dutch organizer of tradeshows. In her first year Cornelien established the CPhI event, which is the tradeshow for Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Intermediates. From that first show onwards “the exhibition/events bug” has never left her. In the 30 years in the events business Cornelien has organized numerous events and has won several awards.

With experience in the conference ánd event business, Cornelien has organized B2B events like Empack, XM Europe and Asia, ITS Madrid, Sponsorship Europe, Packaging Innovations Amsterdam and many more. Currently Easyfairs Nederland organizes more than 45 annual events for various communities, for which Cornelien is responsible.

Serving communities is the goal to organizing great events. Easyfairs Nederland organizes events like Heroes Dutch Comic Con, Infra Relatiedagen, Recreatie Vakbeurs, Aqua Nederland, Bakkersvak and many more.
