Marieke van Eijndhoven

Business Development Manager at Libéma

Marieke grew up in the event industry. Growing up she sat at the drawing table of her father who was and still is a Creative Director in the industry. She ran around international exhibition floors worldwide as a little girl. So after graduation starting a career in the event industry was a logical step. She joined her dads team to support them during the IAA in Frankfurt.

After building a career on the production side of the event industry she found out that the commercial side of it was more ‘her peace of cake.’ She started off in the corporate event Branche as a Sales professional and quickly expanded her network in the Netherlands.

After years she joined the Libéma group in 2008 as a Sales manager for the Exhibition industry in the Netherlands. A little over a year ago she expanded her horizon stated to exploring the international Exhibition Industry. One of the first connections in this industry were made through Women in Exhibitions network. It was a warm welcome.

At this moment she works as an (int.) Business Development Manager with a large focus on the International Exhibition Industry.

Imagine you are famous, who would you be?

Katy Perry. She looks like she has got her act together

Who inspired you the most in your life and how?

Without a doubt my mother. She gave me time and space to develop myself and my personality. My parents taught me there are no limits to what you are capable of.
