International Chapter Introduction
Women in Exhibitions Network International was officially launched in March 2018 with a first event in Maastricht, The Netherlands during The European Fine Art Fair held annually at the MECC Maastricht. This first event was very well attended by prominent female leaders from the Dutch, German, Belgium and UK exhibitions industry and the large attendance confirmed that we should pursue with bringing this community of women together for networking and learning opportunities. The international chapter of WIE was hence created.
As of today, we are working hard to expand the international chapter of WIE hence creating more benefits for all WIE members worldwide. The WIE network is the only truly international network for women working in the exhibition industry, and our main aim is to grow the network to help more and more women across the globe. Becoming part of the international chapter will allow you to become part of a truly international network.
If you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
Becoming a member of this community will allow you to benefit from:
- Being part of an international network that is dedicated to helping and empowering women
- Training and learning new skills through our Academy & events
- Sharing of knowledge and best practices
- Networking with the best in our industry
- Benefitting from our mentoring opportunities
- Identifying career and job opportunities
- Participating in our live and online events!
What we are looking for?
We would love for you to join us and become part of this wonderful community of female leaders and friends. Women are already well represented in the exhibition industry however, we have only recently witnessed the first generation of female leaders who have risen to the top. These women were pioneers who had to fight to get THERE in what was a very male-dominated space. Now that they have broken the glass ceiling we want to nurture and inspire the next generation of female leaders to be confident and brave, to stand up and be seen and ultimately to mentor and nurture them to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Upcoming International Events
We look forward to welcoming you to our next event.
