Impactful decisions making
WIE Academy
July 16 @ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm CEST
Every day, leaders and professionals are required to make decisions that influence outcomes, relationships, and organisational success.
These decisions are often made in environments characterised by time pressure, uncertainty, competing priorities, and heightened scrutiny from colleagues, stakeholders, and customers. The ability to make impactful decisions is therefore a critical skill that extends beyond simply choosing between options.
This session explores the key factors that underpin effective decision making, with a particular focus on the role of confidence, clarity, and self-trust.
Participants examine:
- how these qualities enable individuals to assess information objectively,
- how to navigate ambiguity
- how to make decisions that are both timely and well-reasoned
The session also considers how personal values, biases, emotions, and external influences can shape decision-making processes, sometimes enhancing judgement and at other times creating barriers to effective action.
Join this session to learn strategies for balancing analytical thinking with intuition, managing competing expectations, and communicating decisions with transparency and accountability.
This session highlights the importance of building trust in one’s own judgement while remaining open to challenge, feedback, and new information.
By developing greater self-awareness and a structured approach to decision making, participants are better equipped to make confident, ethical, and impactful decisions that drive positive outcomes for themselves, their teams, and their organisations.
