Looking back on our online catch up last Thursday
September 24, 2020 we came together online to present the plans of our UK Chapter in these times of Covid 19. With a glass of wine, a favourite G&T or a super healthy kombucha around 43 women joined us on zoom to hear from the Founding Members what the plan is now we can only meet online.
Soraya Gadelrab, the President of the UK Chapter introduced our Founding Members who joined live and presented their contribution to the network. Our Academy Programmes were presented by Claire Washington -Smith from ShineSmith who is running the live webinars already sinds few months in partnership with Women in Exhibitions.
New to come is our mentorship programme that was presented by Ruth Carter who is in the lead of this programme and who will join forces with other senior colleagues from the industry to form a pool of senior mentors. The plan is to launch this programme as of November 1st, 2020. More information will be published soon.
The session was a great chance to present our exciting plans as well as catch up with the peers over a drink and listen to the community we want to serve. We were so pleased to be joined by Helen Moon (she/her) from EventWell talking about mental health support in these unusual times. Soon more to come about our partnership!
